Building a quality network

Building a quality network

Over recent times I have had several conversations with people in a quality role who are looking for a new position or are starting a new position.

I'm exploring why people in a quality position leave their job.

A common reason is:

  • Little to no opportunity for growth and development.
  • People in quality roles often face this challenge. Having achieved their goals they look for a new challenge however there is no progression in their current organisation.

What can you do if there is nowhere for you to go?

This article says:

"That's why it's essential to cultivate a broad network, both inside and outside your company, so you have visibility into areas of the business that may otherwise be opaque to you."

If you are a quality manager.

If you work in Quality and are looking for support and professional development then the Quality Networking program may be for you.

As Heather says:

"Before joining Bek's Quality group in 2017, my work life was pretty isolated. Being in quality can feel lonely, overwhelming."

If you are:

  • Feeling isolated
  • Frustrated with a lack of buy in for quality
  • Unsure how to integrate quality into broader systems
  • Overwhelmed with the scope of the quality role
  • Looking for professional development outside of audit training

If you manage a quality manager.

If you have a great quality manager and want to support them with professional development then get in touch.

Too often the only professional development for people in a quality role is internal audit training and the job is so much more than that.

If you want to help your quality manager become more strategic in their thinking to support you to fully integrate quality then the quality networking program is ideal.

The network is specific to health and human services so your quality manager can:

  • Learn best-practice ideas across health and human service organisations
  • Keep up to date with legislative and compliance requirements
  • Access quality professionals to understand strategic quality thinking moving away from only focusing on compliance.

The quality networking program is a fantastic value click here to access the brochure.
